Is man born good or evil?

Actually this is more inclined with philosophy. This was asked to us by our professor and ot got me curious on what other people has to say about it as well.


 


If people are born good then how come there are evil ones then vice versa. You see the dilemma right?

yeah, I think we are(born good) . Its the environment and other factor that makes a man evil.

This is a very good inquiry. I don't think that the environment is enough to make a man evil. Your question isn't enough to support your answer Celine.

I think man is born good though. Based on our natural instinct to grow and help other people who are in need instead of taking advantage of them. People's evilness just came from desperate need that fired it up into a very big and fast growing flame.

I think man is born good because there doing something bad or evil will never really be an option of a good man. I agree with the basis of the above, that man is born good and that man's evilness evolved only through needs.

I also think that man is born good, but the environment and people's attitude influence each individual.

If a little girl sees her mom stealing or cheating to get advantages on something, then she may think that that may be okay, so she'll do it later on. When she understands that what she learned from her mom is wrong, it may be too late.

That's why it is really important to watch what we do or say in front of children.
