I'm not sure if you can reuse motor oil for its original use however you can recycle used oil which can be re-refined into base oil stock for lubricating oil. If you recycle just two gallons of used oil it can generate enough electricity to run the average household for almost 24 hours.

Over 380 million gallons of used oil is recycled each year, according to the U.S. EPA, which equates to over 50 percent of all motor oil purchased annually.

Yeah , I guess so , especially for cleaning purposes(during overhauling of the vehicle's engine or whatever)
