Depending on how short your hair is the most common earring you would associate with short hair would be small hoop earrings, studs or sleepers. I think they would suit short the best. Even though you see many short haired girls wearing teardrop earring and other big earrings and suit them. It sometimes depends on the style of hair and the length.
