The laser printer was invented at Xerox in 1969 by researcher Gary Starkweather, who had an improved printer working by 1971. The first commercial laser printer was implemented by IBM known as IBM model 3800 in 1976. Laser printer prints one page at a time using laser beams and electro photographic techniques.
